M&M Cookies

Extra buttery, soft, & cheery!

 

Ingredients:

  • 12 Tbsp (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup (165 g) light brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup (170 g) white sugar
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract 
  • 1 egg 
  • 2 cups (240 g) AP flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch 
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Desired amount of M&Ms 

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F & line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 
  2. Cream together butter, light brown sugar, & white sugar with an electric mixer on high speed for 3 mins. 
  3. Mix in vanilla & egg just until incorporated. 
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cornstarch, & salt. 
  5. Mix the flour mixture into the butter/sugar mixture just until combined, then mix in M&Ms. 
  6. Roll the dough into balls about 2-inches in diameter, place 2 inches apart on baking sheet, & bake for 12-13 minutes, or until lightly browned, then enjoy!!
