Extra buttery, soft, & cheery!
Ingredients:
- 12 Tbsp (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
- 3/4 cup (165 g) light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup (170 g) white sugar
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 2 cups (240 g) AP flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp salt
- Desired amount of M&Ms
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F & line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together butter, light brown sugar, & white sugar with an electric mixer on high speed for 3 mins.
- Mix in vanilla & egg just until incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cornstarch, & salt.
- Mix the flour mixture into the butter/sugar mixture just until combined, then mix in M&Ms.
- Roll the dough into balls about 2-inches in diameter, place 2 inches apart on baking sheet, & bake for 12-13 minutes, or until lightly browned, then enjoy!!
