A nutritious summer dessert in under 30 minutes!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups (224 g) almond flour
- 1/3 cup pure maple syrup or 1/3 cup sugar mixed with 3 tbsp water
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Dash nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp salt
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F & line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together almond flour, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt.
- Press the mixture onto the baking sheet into a flat layer. Then, place another sheet of parchment paper on top & use a rolling pin to flatten the mixture to ~ 1/4” thickness.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown & crunchy. Then, let cool, cut into desired sized cookies, & enjoy!
