Cherry, Pistachio, & Walnut Dark Chocolate Bark

An easy holiday treat full of antioxidants, healthy fats, & fiber!

 

Ingredients:

  • 9 oz (~250 g) dark chocolate 
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup toasted walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup roasted salted pistachios
  • 1/2 cup toasted pecans, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup dried cherries, roughly chopped
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Sea salt

 

Directions:

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt chocolate in a double boiler or in 1-minute increments in the microwave. Then, mix in cinnamon.
  3. In a large bowl, combine toasted walnuts, pistachios, pecans, and cherries. Then, pour melted chocolate into the bowl and mix everything together to evenly coat all of the nuts.
  4. Pour the mixture onto the baking sheet and spread around to form a large rectangle of desired thickness (approx. 12”x8”). Sprinkle with cayenne pepper and sea salt. Then, refrigerate until hardened, cut into pieces, & enjoy!!
