An easy holiday treat full of antioxidants, healthy fats, & fiber!
Ingredients:
- 9 oz (~250 g) dark chocolate
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup toasted walnuts, roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup roasted salted pistachios
- 1/2 cup toasted pecans, roughly chopped
- 1 cup dried cherries, roughly chopped
- Cayenne pepper
- Sea salt
Directions:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt chocolate in a double boiler or in 1-minute increments in the microwave. Then, mix in cinnamon.
- In a large bowl, combine toasted walnuts, pistachios, pecans, and cherries. Then, pour melted chocolate into the bowl and mix everything together to evenly coat all of the nuts.
- Pour the mixture onto the baking sheet and spread around to form a large rectangle of desired thickness (approx. 12”x8”). Sprinkle with cayenne pepper and sea salt. Then, refrigerate until hardened, cut into pieces, & enjoy!!
